Hi, my name is Jeffery Cox, and I’m honored you would take time to stop by this site. It’s my prayer that the content of this site will serve to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to a hurting world.
In 1992 at the age of 14 I surrendered my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and received from Him forgiveness of sin and the promise of everlasting and abudant life.3 years later I accepted God’s call on my life to vocational ministry.
Currently I serve as Pastor of Patee Park Baptist Church in St. Joseph, Missouri, a cooperating church of the Southern Baptist Convention, Missouri Baptist Convention, and the St. Joseph Baptist Association. Prior to coming to Patee Park I served as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Lockwood, Missouri, and Associate Pastor of Claycomo Baptist Church in Kansas City. My preparation for ministry includes attendance at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City and graduation from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
It is my great honor to the be the husband of a beautiful, loving, and encouraging wife. We have two children who have taught me what it is to love and be loved. It is truly humbling to be called husband and father.
